West Harbour Light Rail

WEST HARBOUR LIGHT RAIL

What is the West Harbour Light Rail and why is it being built?

The West Harbour Light Rail is a significant renovation project that improves tram connections between Hakaniemi and West Harbour.

The aim of the project is to meet the needs of light rail traffic by extending stops and improving tram infrastructure.

This enables smoother and more efficient public transport, which is particularly important in areas with high passenger numbers. The West Harbour Light Rail also supports the development of the area and increases the reliability of traffic.
