Lassila
In Lassila, construction will focus especially on the Kaupintie area and the intersection of Kaupintie and Vihdintie. A tramway and related street and municipal infrastructure works will be carried out in the area. At the same time, traffic arrangements will be renewed to support future tram services. The works will affect routes and traffic in the area in phases as construction progresses.
Kaupintie
Construction period: 6/2028–11/2028
A new tramway line will be built on Kaupintie, along with related street and municipal infrastructure works. The tramway will run in the centre of the street, with car lanes and pedestrian and cycling routes constructed on both sides. The construction will improve public transport connections, walking and cycling conditions, and support the future development of the area.
The new tram stops will be located at the intersection of Näyttelijäntie and near Pohjois-Haaga railway station.
Vihdintie and Kaupintie intersection area
Construction period: 8/2026–8/2027
A tramway will be constructed at the Vihdintie and Kaupintie intersection, while street arrangements and municipal infrastructure will be renewed, and pedestrian and cycling connections improved.
